Sweet & Spicy Chicken Lettuce Wraps

You'll need: ground chicken, salt, mushrooms, onion, bell pepper, carrots, water chestnuts, green onions, romaine, soy sauce, sriracha, sesame & peanut oils, ginger, garlic, & rice wine vinegar.

Start by doing some prep work. Chop your vegetables. Whisk the ingredients for the sauce together and set aside.


Salt the ground chicken & cook thoroughly, set aside. Next, cook mushrooms until starting to brown. Add the onions, red pepper, & carrots, & cook until onions are turning translucent.


Now add the cooked ground chicken back in with the water chestnuts and ½ the green onions. Stir to combine.


Stir in the sauce, bring to a boil, and reduce heat to a simmer. Cook on low for about 10 minutes until sauce has thickened and reduced.


To serve, break up the lettuce into individual leaves, & fill with a scoop of chicken and vegetable mixture. Top with the remaining green onions, & you are ready for this delicious dinner!
