Ingredients

green beans onion garlic bacon smoked ham flour vegetable broth dried basil dried thyme cayenne pepper parsley cajun seasoning

Cook bacon with onions until bacon is crispy and onions are translucent. Add in garlic.

Sprinkle flour over the onions and bacon and stir in. Cook for a few minutes to make a light roux.

Slowly whisk broth into the flour mixture. Continue mixing until there are no flour lumps.

Add the remaining ingredients. Bring to a simmer, cover, and cook for about 30 minutes.

Uncover and simmer to reduce the broth down to a gravy.
