Crispy Fried Crawfish Tails

Need a leftover crawfish recipe idea? Turn those crawfish tails into deliciously crispy bites. Crawfish tails are super easy to fry, and only take about a minute in the fryer. Serve as an appetizer, part of a fried seafood platter, or on a po'boy!

Ingredients

crawfish tails buttermilk hot sauce flour cornmeal baking powder salt garlic powder onion powder cayenne powder black pepper frying oil lemon

Soak the crawfish tails in a mixture of hot sauce and buttermilk. This tenderizes the crawfish and actually helps get them even crispier in the fryer.
