chicken wings avocado oil baking powder onion powder garlic powder sugar salt chipotle chili powder paprika thyme black pepper cayenne pepper

If needed, break down the chicken wings into drumettes and flats. Discard the wing tips or save them for making stock.

Pat wings dry with paper towels. Massage oil into the wings until they are thoroughly coated. Gloves are handy for this!

Sprinkle dry rub mix over the wings and toss to coat evenly. Prep a large baking sheet with a cooling rack on it and spray it with cooking spray.

Spread out the wings evenly on the baking sheet. Give them room so they can get crispy and not steam. Use 2 sheets if needed.

Bake wings for 20 minutes then flip. Continue baking until golden brown and extra crispy with an internal temp of 165°F.
