The Crispiest Blackened Chicken Wings

Why you'll love  this recipe:

- Perfect spice level - Baked vs deep frying = healthier wings! - Crispy chicken skin

Ingredients

For this recipe you will need: a neutral oil, blackened seasoning, chicken wings, & baking powder

Make the blackening seasoning. Then mix the blackening seasoning with baking powder for the dry rub in a small bowl.  Click below for my homemade blackening seasoning recipe!

1

Massage the oil into wings.  Sprinkle dry rub seasonings over wings & toss to coat evenly. Place wings in a single layer on a foil-lined baking sheet with a baking rack giving them enough space.

2

Place wings in a single layer on a foil-lined baking sheet with a fitted baking rack and plenty of cooking spray (making sure to give them  enough space). Bake wings at 400°F for 20 minutes.

3

Increase heat to 450°F & flip wings over. Continue baking for another 15-20 minutes until golden brown, crispy, & cooked throughout.

4

Serve hot. Option to add your favorite dipping sauce! I highly recommend Cajun ranch. Option to top with fresh herbs.

5

This recipe pairs perfectly with this Homemade Cajun Ranch! All the fresh tang of ranch dressing plus a zesty Cajun kick. Skip the ranch seasoning packet, and make this homemade ranch instead!
