This classic ground beef chili is perfect to warm you up on a cold day. Eat it as is, or jazz it up with your favorite toppings. I like it with cornbread, avocado, cheese, and a squeeze of lime. It's ready in an hour!

Ingredients

ground chuck yellow onion bell pepper jalapeño garlic tomato paste chili powder cumin dried oregano onion powder garlic powder sugar beef broth kidney beans diced tomatoes

Roll the ground chuck into roughly shaped balls and sear in a dutch oven. This will help add extra flavor to your chili!

Add in the onions, bell peppers, and jalapeños and sauté until the vegetables are soft. Add in garlic and tomato paste with seasonings.

Add beef broth with tomatoes. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low. Simmer covered for about 30 minutes until chili has thickened.
