Burrata Caprese Salad

Why you'll love  this recipe:

- Simple yet SO flavorful - No cooking involved - Flavors of a classic Caprese salad with a fun twist

Ingredients

For this recipe you will need: basil, tomatoes, burrata, balsamic glaze, extra virgin olive oil, flaky sea salt, & some freshly ground black pepper.

First, you'll want to slice tomatoes about ¼ inch thick. If you're using smaller tomatoes, you can slice them in half or quarters.

1

You can choose to slice burrata, or leave it whole. Keep in mind burrata is runny! If slicing, it helps to scoop the slices and arrange them with a large spoon.

2

Arrange the burrata and tomato slices on a serving platter. Alternating the slices makes such a pretty presentation.

3

Top with fresh basil, and a drizzle of extra-virgin olive oil and balsamic reduction. Top with flaky salt and freshly ground black pepper.

4

Balsamic glaze is actually very easy to make yourself. It’s as simple as reducing balsamic vinegar until it reaches a thicker consistency. I have a guide to making homemade balsamic glaze below.

This recipe is a great appetizer for this Spicy Rigatoni Vodka. This spicy vodka sauce is so smooth and ultra creamy with salty bits of crispy pancetta.
